Rachel Becker
Poet, writer, educator

Rachel Becker is a Boston-based writer whose poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in journals including Heavy Feather Review, New World Writing Quarterly, Funicular, and RHINO. She has also written for the Boston Globe’s Living Arts section, where an interview and several reviews appear. 

Rachel has nearly two decades of teaching and facilitation experience at Newton South High School, where she teaches English and Creative Writing. She is a poetry candidate in Lesley University’s MFA in Creative Writing program and holds an M.Phil from the University of Oxford, as well as a B.A. from Vassar College. She lives in Roslindale with her husband, two kids and a very watchful cat.
